SXL Cross-Linked Polyethylene Wire is general purpose automotive & marine wire for circuit wiring where higher heat resistance is a requirement. Vulcanized to obtain thermosetting insulation which will not melt when exposed to heat. Wire is rated at 60 Volts with a temperature rating of 125°C (257°F). RoHS compliant & conductors meet or exceed S.A.E. J1128 specifications. Resistant to grease, oil, acid, abrasion & aging.
100% Copper, NOT "CCA" wire, Made in the USA.
Note: Some wiring insulation is made from soy or other plant based materials. This can can increase the likelihood of rodents like mice, rats, and squirrels chewing on wiring. JT&T wire insulation is not made with any soy or other plant based materials.
